Duke didnt play like I expected them to, or for that matter like anyone expected them to. Duke took a loss in the second round of the tournament to a team that I'v never heard of. Lehigh beat them 75-70 in the second round hurting many brakets. Duke was the second number 2 seed to be beat out in the second round.
Duke had two players that scored 19 points, Austin Rivers, and Mason Plumlee. This wasnt enough though as they lost by five. Duke was just out-played. The stats didnt show any significant differences besides the turnovers. Duke had 13 to Lehighs 8 turnovers. Duke even out-rebounded Lehigh 34 to 42. In my opinion, Duke didnt have all that great of a season.
Ya...I thought they would of done much better than they did. I thought there season was a little better than that, but that doesn't change the fact they there tournement went terrible. I lost alot of respect for Duke this year.
